These close-ups were made with a 1965 Pentax Spotmatic, with an Asahi Super-Takumar 1:1.4/50 mm lens. These pictures were first developed and printed, then scanned, and just so slightly retouched with photoshop to remove some of the faults the scanner had put into them. I hope you enjoy.

What film did you use? It looks really nice.

Is the soft, low-contrast colour a result of the film or the scanner? We need details!

These are fantastic, thanks so much for sharing! I second ToyDeathbot's request: what film did you use? The colors are fantastic, and the softness is just right. There's a lot of photographers who would complain about the softness, but I love it. Thank you sir.

I used a normal 400 ASA film from one of the local 'we got everything' store. Nothing professional.

It might be the the lens used has gone dark over the years, due to the fact that it is not made entirely of glass, but also some other material which turned slightly radioactive over the years, and caused a bit of a tint in colour.
